You know the scene in the movie where the girl from the big city walks into the small town bar/restaurant and EVERYBODY turns and stares and it's so awkward?? That's exactly what happened today when I went to a little diner for lunch in the small town I'm in. It was so strange. I could feel everyone's eyes following us as we walked by. I was with my coworker Megan and she felt it too. I haven't felt that self-conscious in awhile. It was almost as bad as trying to polietly eat spagheti in front of a date. It was a really awkward lunch.
P.S. There a lady bug doing laps around the lampshade in my hotel room and has been for at least two hours. That's quite the workout for a ladybug.
